Call for the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters Special Stream
The SIBGRAPI 2018 GRSL Track is open for paper submission to a special stream of the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters. This special stream is oriented to bring together researchers from the pattern recognition, computer vision, image processing and remote sensing fields to present advances on the development of pattern and image analysis for interpretation of remote sensing images. Possible topics are, but not restricted to: image processing, low-level feature extraction, segmentation, classification, deep learning, multimodal and multi view methods, multisensor fusion, 3D reconstruction from aerial images, dataset creation and evaluation methodologies. All papers accepted in this track are scheduled and must be presented at the conference (oral presentation). Please review our no-show and no-registration policy at this link.
All papers for the SIBGRAPI 2018 GRSL Track must be submitted electronically before 23:59 PDT on Friday, June 1st, 2018. Manuscripts submitted to this track must follow the instructions presented at the GRSL Special Stream page available through this link. Submitted manuscripts must be written in English.
IMPORTANT: Note that for papers published through this GRSL Track there will be voluntary page charges of $110/page assessed for the first 3 pages. For GRSS members there is a $200/page mandatory page charge for pages 4 and 5. For non-GRSS members there is a $230/page mandatory page charge for pages 4 and 5. Papers longer than 5 printed pages will not be published in GRSL.
All accepted papers in this track are scheduled for oral presentation at the event and must be presented at the conference. Please review our no-show and no-registration policy at this link.
The oral presentations must fit in 15 minutes, with additional 5 minutes for questions. Please rehearse your presentation to make sure it fits in this time slot in a relaxed pace. A rushed presentation will create more stress for you and will not be compelling. Slides and presentation must be in English. Please arrive in the session room at least 15 minutes before the session begins. Session chairs will help you test your presentation slides using the provided audiovisual equipment.
