IMAGO Research Group
IMAGO is a research group from Departament of Informatics (DInf) at Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR), in Brazil, and it was founded by Profª. Olga R. P. Bellon in 1996.
The main interests of the group are computer vision, image processing and computer graphics. The current research is focused on range image understanding, 3D modelling, digital archeology, virtual museum, image and data mining, virtual museum, biometrics, medical images, remote sensing and robotics.
The IMAGO group offers an active research environment in innovative and exciting projects, with many professors, collaborators and students, supported by UNESCO, IPHAN, CAPES, CNPq, FINEP, UFPR and Fundação Araucária do Paraná. The professors advise either undergraduate and graduate (master and doctoral) students.
